1. Who we are

MindForge Capital is a research platform. Sagar Shekhawath, Co-Founder, is a SEBI-registered Research Analyst, providing systematic, factor-based investment research and model portfolio services across Indian equity and ETF markets. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our website and services.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you subscribe to our research services, we collect:

• Your full name
• Email address
• Strategy interest (which subscription tier you selected)
• Any messages or communications you send us directly

Information collected automatically

Our own website analytics are first-party and deliberately minimal. When you visit a page we record: which page (its path only — never the query string, so a member dashboard link and the token it carries are never logged), which of a small set of events occurred (a page view, how far down a page you scrolled, which plan you clicked, whether a signup was started or completed, whether a free tool was used), a randomly generated identifier that lives only in that browser tab and is discarded when you close it, and a broad size band for your screen. We do not record your IP address, your browser or device identity, or your name or email alongside any of this, and we do not set any cookie to do it.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, our analytics do not run at all.

Separately, and as with any website, our hosting provider (GitHub Pages) and our backend provider (Google Apps Script) keep their own standard server logs of requests made to them, which include IP addresses. That is a function of how the internet works rather than a choice we make, and we do not combine those logs with the analytics above.

What we do not collect

We do not collect financial account details, PAN numbers, Aadhaar numbers, bank account information, or any other sensitive financial or identity data. We do not process payments directly on this website.

3. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Deliver model portfolio updates and rebalance signals to subscribers
• Respond to enquiries and provide customer support
• Send important service announcements (regulatory changes, strategy updates)
• Improve our website and services based on aggregate usage data

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Data sharing and disclosure

We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: We use third-party tools for email delivery and subscriber communications. These providers process data solely on our behalf and are bound by data processing agreements.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by applicable law, SEBI regulations, or a valid legal order.
• Business continuity: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction, with prior notice provided to you.

5. Data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as you remain a subscriber or as required by applicable law. If you unsubscribe or request deletion of your data, we will remove your information from our active systems within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.

7. Cookies and tracking

Our website may use minimal cookies for functional purposes (e.g. remembering your selected strategy tab between visits). We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we do not use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics service — the measurement described in section 2 is first-party, meaning the data goes only to us and is never shared with an advertising or analytics company. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without affecting your ability to read our content.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. However, no internet-based system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Please contact us immediately if you believe your information has been compromised.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify subscribers of material changes by email and will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
